Flore is the founder and Director of "Fondation pour l'Avancement des Femmes Haitiennes (FAFHA)." Flore retired from the Federal Government after 31 years of service and presently works in the Non profit sector. Flore holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations and a PhD in Public Policy and Administration. Flore believes that the empowerment of women is a winning strategy for poverty reduction in Haiti and this is her leading motivation for creating this foundation.
Rose Myrline Sylvania Paul--Assistant-Director
Rose Myrline Sylvania Paul pursued her classical studies at the College Regina Assumpta of Cap-Haitien, Haiti. After her classical studies, she relocated to Port-au-Prince to begin her university studies. She studied International Relations at Quisqueya University, and Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Economics of the State University of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Rose Myrline currently works at the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities.
Rose Myrline is the director of “Hammah Vocational School” to train young people and give them the tools necessary to develop a certain autonomy to meet their basic needs. Rose Myrline brings a myriad of knowledge and experience to our organization. Rose will serve in the capacity of Assistant-Director for FAFHA.

Father Caudy Augustin is a Roman Apostolic Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of Cap Haitien, Haiti.
He is the current Pastor of the Parish of Pignon in Haiti. He teaches numerous courses at Notre Dame du Bon Secours College in Pignon. He is the administrator of the Notre Dame du Bon Secours College, the St Joseph Presbyteral School, and the St Joseph Health Center in the Parish of Pignon.
Father Caudy is a great Leader and team player, He is a friendly and dynamic individual who brings life and energy to every parish he is assigned to.
He can speak Creole, French and some English because of the numerous trips made to the United States of America. Father Caudy will serve in the capacity of Principal Advisor for the foundation. He wishes to give the best of himself for the advancement of FAFHA.
Marie Josee holds degrees in Social Services, Communication and Human resources. She is dynamic, organized, and punctual. Marijo has held several significant positions in high-ranking organizations such as the Haitian embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; The united Nations in Ottawa; OMS/OPS, and the ministry of Health in Haiti.
MariJo is a great community leader who is wholeheartedly involved with the Haitian community of Quebec, Ottawa. MariJo is a perfect fit for the position of Adjunct Advisor to FAFHA.
Magalie worked as a registered nurse with the city of New-York for over 30 years. She holds a Master’s degree in health care management and has held many high ranking managerial positions during her career in healthcare. Maguy is a dynamic leader who is proficient in fundraising activities for her community. She will serve this foundation in the capacity of Treasurer.
Mrs. Hermanah Pierre is a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She is married with four beautiful daughters and resides In Nashville, Tennessee with her family. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in pulmonary care sciences. Hermanah serves in the Tennessee army national guard with pride and honor. When she is not busy working or soldiering, she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to dance and cook. She loves the Haitian culture and is always ready to be involved in anything happening in the Haitian community. Hermanah is always ready to serve her people. She is so excited to become a part of the FAFHA'S family where she will serve as a communication advisor.
Murene is a registered nurse with specialization in epidemiology. She is a wife, mother, sister and friend who understands the struggles of Haitian women to gain autonomy. She has extensive experience in supervision. She is proficient in drafting reports, and will serve as secretary for the foundation.
In Haiti, School tuition is high. Most Haitian families are having difficulties sending their children to a decent school. We will take donations from individuals as well as local businesses and use them to assist low-income single mothers pay tuition for their children. Help us connect with donors.
We want to keep older women involved in their community. We want to give a platform to meet and express their feelings as well as their needs. Those meetings can also serve as counseling sessions to help families cope with any life difficulties they might be experiencing. It also involves literacy and health counseling.
Our community is full of women who have an entrepreneurial spirit. We want to empower them with a microfinance program, We also want them to learn a trade or skill such as culinary arts which will allow them to become self-sufficient.
